WTF is Love?!?!

Recently, I've been having trouble figuring out what LOVE is...


What the fuck is love?


People say things like "We're gonna be together forever" "I'll love you no matter what" "You are my world" "You are the reason I live right now" and more but I mean, none of those words are TRUE. That's why people have to go through break-ups and heartbreaks.


Some people say "The One" is their true love. In my opinion, I don't think "The One" is your true love. The one you marry IS "The One" (I think)


I wanna tell a story about my parents.


They've been married for over 15 years now and they've had me and my sisters. My dad works everyday. My mom is a housewife. I've been watching my parents all my 15 years  and I realized something.


I've only seen my parents fight....... ONCE
and that was 5-6 years ago. It was one of those unnecessary fights but I remember, they didn't talk to each other for the whole day.


But since that day, I have never ever seen my parents fight or even argue about anything.


What I want to tell now is how I know my parents still love each other even now.


Recently, I have been seeing my parents together A LOT.


I've seen them holding hands in public.
I've seen them kiss by the door when my dad leaves for work.
I've seen them kinda mess around.
And I ALWAYS see them laughing together. :)


Even though I have seen my parents like this, I have one thing stuck in my head of what my mom told me.


A week ago, my mom and I was watching TV and they were talking about dating and choosing the right person. When the TV turned into a commercial, I asked my mom, "Was dad your type?" and this was her answer, "Not At All".


I was speechless. I've seen my parents lovey dovey and now my mom is telling me dad was never her type of guy but they still got married and had 3 kids and are still in love?!?!


I was confused but I might know why now since I've been writing this blog, I might have understood why my mom made that decision. 


Few things I learned here.


1. Love is not easy.
2. Love takes time.
3. Love is when two people have the same feelings for each other.
